Close to where I live there is a skinny bridge which I need to drive through on a regular basis. More of a tunnel if you like! It is the kind of bridge that you think that if you press your elbows against your side really hard as you drive through, and hold your breath that that is going to make your car skinnier too!
Now there are two ways to drive through this drive, you can either just go for it or you can go slowly & steadily, crawling along to the other end. Ok, so you would think that slowly & steadily would win the race wouldn’t you?! Does not seem to be the case – if I drive slowly and steadily, I seem to over think it and end up dinking the wing mirrors off the wall [don't tell my husband]. If I drive it and just go for it [here I am not talking about recklessly speeding through - just getting on with it] then I never seem to hit them wing mirrors.
So let this be a reminder to you, sometimes you can over think things, sometimes you can paralyse yourself into in action by over thinking things or indeed just hit the wing mirrors of your franchise business. Sometimes it is best to just get on with it and get it done!
